Hey Everyone! This week I am going to give some Tips & Hints on how to SPEED up your computer! Alright, ever have the experience that you are waiting in front of the computer staring at the "WELCOME" for 5 minutes and when you got in, you have to wait for the spinning cursor to stop spinning?
Don't Worry! Helps is here today!

  • System Configuration
    • This may be an issue when you have too much application and software starting up when your computer is start up, therefore turning off some of those unnecessary one will help improve the system performance.
    1.  Click on start, type "msconfig" (omit the quotation mark "") and hit Enter!
2. You will see this Windows!

3. Click on Startup tab and you will see this
                4.   Uncheck application like:
      • Instant Messaging (MSN, Skype, etc)
      • Music Player (iTune, Windows Media Player, etc)
      • Adobe (All adobe software is not require for startup)
      • Video Player (VLC player, Real player, etc)
                5. Click apply, OK and YES torestart your Computer

    • If your computer does not perform well enough as compare to few week back, you are able to restore the system to remove configuration that you have made this recently that could have cause the poor performance
    1. Click start, type "System Restore" (omit the quotation mark "") amd hit Enter!
    2. Click Next

3. From the list, select a Restore point that is before the date and time you experiencing problems

    • Organized the Desktop
      • When you login your computer, the computer will take time to load application and if you have gadgets it will take up even longer time for the computer to warm up. Moreover, with a desktop with full page of files and document around it will take even longer time to warm up.
